Why hello. I am Joe, or Stales89 if you prefer to call me by my gamertag and username on pretty much everything else.I am a self confessed geek and dedicated gamer who games ’till completion. If I don’t complete a game I feel dirty inside and must rectify the situation as soon as possible.

I am an Xbox 360 gamer, but I don’t mind the Wii or the PS3. Each have their own good points and bad points, thus the answer to the console debate is… “If you’re happy with what you have, then be happy and stop moaning at other people!”,  just a thought…

My first ever console was actually a Commodore 64 which my Dad used to bring me up on. I’d say that’s a pretty cool memory for a 19 year old. He was always playing games with me before I was even one year old, and from then up until I was old enough to own my own SEGA Master System. I completed the first ever Sonic the Hedgehog, not the Mega Drive (Genesis) one everyone refers to as the first, but the Master System version at the early age of 4. This began my life in front of a screen… oh dear.

I am very dedicated to my Media Production which I do as a hobby. All my work can be found on my YouTube channel or on my website.

I am currently in my second year at the University of Lincoln and I have now progressed onto Digital Media and special effects. This also rolls over into some work I do at Metal Gods TV. I go out and film interviews with bands, edit them, do the titles, then publish them to the website as a podcast.

There is a lot about me I could say, from my love of italian food to making Machinima shorts using Sims 3 and Halo 3. Then there is also my sheer hatred for Russel Brand, but that’s my opinion. Some people like him.

I have long hair… there’s an interesting fact, and I also like The Prodigy, Lady Gaga and Metallica!

Favourite Genre:
I’m torn between first person shooters and action games. I really enjoy my Call of Duty and Halo, but also love my Gears of War and Skate 2, and I’m also partial to a good session on Rock Band 2. Let’s face it, I’ll play anything really.

Gaming Style:
Stealthy and sneakily… until discovered.
