First off I would like to say Gears of War is one of the greatest games of all time. Your game is the reason I still have a 360 till this day ( even though my 360 has RROD on me 3 times already and its getting repaired as you read this) Your game is the reason I pay for Xbox Live.

But Please Cliffy B please for the love of god PLEASE fix the online issues bro. Like the guy said in this article “It’s an untouchable experience when it works”
that is so true the games Multiplayer is Untouchable when its working. Gears of War 2 is a AWSOME game but I personly thought it fell short when it came to online. Even till this day there are issues with the online. For Example if you get shot once and your try and start up the chainsaw he fazes back as if someone shot him….. And HOST always has the advantage ( I understand HOST has the advantage in all games but in GEARS its BAD SHIT CRAZY ADVANTAGE )

I will always play GEARS even thought the obvious issues with the games online because its just so fucken EPIC. Theres nothing like it. Where else can you chainsaw someone then 2 seconds later give someone the GAUGE and blow half there body across the map? NOWHERE LOL. Cliffy don’t let Gears 3 suffer the way Gears 2 did for god sakes dude I don’t wanna wait UPDATE AFTER UPDATE just to get a OK Online experience.

And bro I know you get mail about this but Every Single update you guys release you fix something and then you fuck something else up. Why is that? You evened out the chainsaw but now its all buggy sometimes you try and rev it up and it starts up and turns off you know as well as I do when you rev up the chainsaw your breathing down that guys neck, there is no room for error when your that close. And the shotgun is the game lags to bro…

Don’t let what happened to Gears 2 happen to Gears 3 Love your work Cliffy B and as long as your makin Gears for Microsoft I will always buy a Microsoft console

I loved Gears 2, but I agree with everything Si said. Some more open-worldy type stuff would benefit the next one, and less linearity. Playing through the game a second time is exactly the same almost, unless you play on a harder difficulty and then it’s just… harder.

Horde ruled but it was about the only multiplayer I ever played on Gears 2. Mainly because i suck, but also cos the competative MP seems to be eo elite. I also think more balance is needed; it seems using the Lancer is suicide and using the shotgun or the sniper is the only way forward.

Horde was amazing at the time, and the trendsetter for many of today’s FPS online experiences, ODST & Spec Ops to note but two. But lack of DLC in terms of adding to GOW 2′s horde mode meant it dated fast, especially with other games giving similar and in some cases, a better version of that game mode.

Online was never a problem for me personally, I enjoyed it for what it offered. But as Epic and Cliffy are aware of 2′s issues, I’m sure the team wont be making that same error in the next episode.

One thing I wish for just like Si, is for a larger co-op experience for the campaign. I really feel this is the next big movement that the blockbuster titles should all now be offering. ODST & Borderlands are but two that have lead the way, and now it’s time for games such as GOW & even the Modern Warfare franchise to follow suit.

Cliffy listen to me… CO-OP SQUAD BASED CAMPAIGN IS THE WAY FORWARD! Oh and if you need a good ending for the next game, hit me up!
