South Park: The Stick of Truth Gets Censored in EU and Australia

March 3, 2014, Author: Matt Parker

Bad news for Europeans and Aussies alike. South Park: The Stick of Truth is getting censored.

According to reports seven scenes, each lasting around 20 seconds have been cut. Somewhat bizarrely, these changes seem to apply mainly to consoles with the PC version (in the UK at least) remains uncut.

As you can imagine, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have addressed this censorship in a most fitting manner.

Mama mia! Censorshipo!

Mama mia! Censura!

Europeans will be made aware of their missing content via a face-palming David whilst those in Australia will get a crying koala.

Not making that up.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is out on the 4th of March in America, the 6th in Australia and the 7th in Europe.

Here’s the first 13 minutes of the game to give you an idea of what to expect.
