BioShock Infinite Now Planned for February 2013

Image

New York, NY – May 9, 2012
2K Games announced today that BioShock Infinite from Irrational Games is now planned to launch worldwide on February 26, 2013.

Ken Levine, Creative Director of Irrational Games, stated, “When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”

Having seen the "improvements" they've made in the last gameplay video compared to what had come before, I have to say that no, I won't. In fact, to be honest with you, it's currently a knife-edge decision as to whether i'll be cancelling the pre-order I placed back in March 2012 at this point, such was my dismay at what I saw.

I am interested to see what the next couple of official videos show us. The fact that we've not seen much at all in the past few months concerns me frankly.

I'm interested to see what you're on about bro. Everything I've seen from this game so far has been excellent and mesmerising in equal measure.

Just about to upload a brand new trailer to the YouTube btw :)

It was the revised gameplay that I saw in this video from about a month ago that turned me off, with all the stat/hit counters factored in to it:

Not my thing at all if there's not an option to remove all that distracting shit.
