I know a few of you will be watching this. Starts on Monday 18th Sky atlantic. HD channel is 108. I'm really excited about this. Heard good things and the recent trailers have really wet the appetite.

I watched most of the first episode the other day. Actually very impressed, the trailers made it look like another fantasy epic bore, but the characterisation is good and the story sems to be going somewhere.

Oh yeh, and apparently winter is coming? Lol...

Just finished watching the series so far. Well I'm hooked! Pretty much ticks every box for me; witty humour, action, brilliant acting and characterisation, complex plotline, excellent fantasy setting (not too Tolkein-esque) and one fo the best title sequences I've seen in ages. It's obviously been made with care and a massive amount of talent. For those who're up to date;
I didn't think Joffrey being fair of hair was a big deal? He's half Lannister so that would make sense right? Also, who really ordered the hit on the Stark lad? I don't think Tyrian Lannister had anything to do with it, wouldn't make sense. And Ned's last order as Hand?!? Essentially declaring war on the Lannisters!!!

I can't wait for what's next!
