Just when i thought gaming couldn't get any more amazing,
One of the things that seems to have gotten me is that they have drawn the landscapes by hand just like the show, big gold factor for me. Will be like an interactive show, as for the final fantasy encounters, that could work out well but ide like to see how they will implement that because when they say "Players will push X for melee attacks" i hope that isnt just it, a melee and ranged attack, hopefully there some special move selector that uses something like stamina or mana. I have a lot of faith that Obsidian will do a good job. As for the "Class designed by cartman" Im going assume that Awsome-o 4000.

It really could go either way. It's a game that's either going to blow us away, or it's going to fail miserably. Thing is, with the writers of the show onboard, that does say a lot for how much they're invested into the game.

Still, it's not something I'm going to dash out and buy day one. It's really gotta win me over.

Depends to be honest, if it looks like a good game ill buy it day one being the huge SP fan i am, But as you said, it can go either way. Obsidian could do a good job, but as you stated earlier because of Fallout New Vegas, Glitches galore could be inevitable.

I'm confident Obsidian can make a good game but I've honestly never thought South Park was the best franchise. Same with the Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy. All the games based on these franchises have either been awful or poor imitations of better games with little to offer aside from a bit of cheap fan service.

I reckon it's going to be an alright game but fail to appeal to all but devout South Park fans. We shall see though.

Hurm, i have to agree about the south park games being awfull, lets not forget the tower defence one. But it could have potential as long as it isnt just an interactive episode like the stuff you get on bonus discs when you buy a dvd.

With all of the class they could have picked from south park they chose jew. Why do i think this is going to cause a stir with some gamers and papers? Hell, they could have picked anything, David blain class, Awesome-o class, hanky class (ok that one would be weird i admit) and all of them would have caused less stir. Still, sounds like a good class. HA.

This is not something I would have ever expected, but it sounds interesting at least. Not a purchase I'd make without reading reviews though, as it could easily fail big time if not done -just- right.
