To be honest i hate all modern music, especially dubstep etc, i dont see the talent in it. Most musics auto-tuned!, Ill stick to, motley crue, iron maiden, billy tallent, g'n'r and judas priest!! Oh and for the record X-Factor is one of the most money grabbing shows that produce a lot of useless people its unbelievable. Thats just my opinion

Fuck Little Mix man. They're gonna sing the same old shit over and over again and the morons are gonna lap it up. At least Matt Cardle has done things differently, making a guitar-based album and playing with a solid live band. He's basically used X Factor to make his dream come true; perform in a band as a career. And not ALL of his songs are about love and they aren't crammed with fucking 'baby I love you!' and all that bullshit. At least he's trying not to be like every other male winner of the show.

as for Little Mix they'll basically be singing songs that sound just like the ones they sang during the show, probably do a Christmas single next year and sell trillions because fanny-adict teenage boys can't stop wanking over them and sad-act cattle-like girls think they're so amazing. And the cycle will repeat until we all die. Thank CHRIST for guys like Ed Sheeran who are bringing some semblance of real musicality to our airwaves. I mean I'm not a massive fan but at least his lyrics are thoughtful and well-written and he plays an instrument!

Oh and not ALL modern music is shite mate. MOST of it is but you just have to find the gems in the shit heap. At the moment I'm liking Biffy Clyro and Mastodon, both bands that are selling records and touring still. They sing about all sorts of stuff. Although most of my musical tastes lie within the 80's or in the current punk/hardcore underground.

Little Mix to release free-jazz concept album about Egyptian gods

X FACTOR winners Little Mix's first album is to be a concept-driven free-jazz epic inspired by
the ancient gods of Egypt, it has been revealed.

Although the group have found success singing the X Factor's delightful cover versions, their self-penned material will showcase the love of avant-garde improvisational music that inspired them to launch their music careers.

Describing the 412-minute Little Mix debut album Horus: 'The Hidden Reality: Phase One', band member Leigh-Ann Pinnock said: "One of the main reasons we get on so well is that we're all really into Sun Ra, Coltrane and also early industrial music like Throbbing Gristle."

"Since being put together for X Factor we've had loads of girly chats in our pyjamas, eating Maltesers and formulating a complex system of esoteric spiritual beliefs in which the bird-headed Egyptian god Horus is the creator of the cosmos and there are twelve parallel realities or 'Shards'. We see our music as an important medium for conveying the deepest secrets of the universe to pre-teenage girls. Although obviously we also want it to be loads of fun."

Opening track 'Klengtropic Multiverse' features Little Mix member Jade Thirwell playing slow, hypnotic conga rhythm in 6-8 time while Jesy Nelson, who has recently changed her name to High Priestess Imhotep Saturn, chants "Anubis, deep space, Anubis, find your reality".

A Syco insider said: "We'd kind of hoped for an album about sweets, pop socks and love bites but we'll tolerate it as long as they're achieving their cosmic revelations without drugs. Hopefully they're just getting high on fizzy drinks and friendship."
