I'm not sure I agree with your views on Serious Sam (I hate it because it's repetitive and hard and I never really though the graphics were that good) but good review mate

Oh and by the sounds of it in the gameplay bit you were basically describing a basic turn-based battle system, which is pretty much a staple for the old RPGs I think the game was trying to imitate.

I probably won't be getting this as I have little love for Sam and by the sounds of it it's pretty badly made too lol.
