GAH! As do I. They're really talented people and I appreciate the fact that they try to make their games an experience as opposed to something you just play through to get to the end. I still play flOw to relax and create beautiful screencaps for my PS3 wallpaper, and that game is something most might consider "old" by now.

I would love another Sony contract with thatgamecompany... but I suspect it won't be based on how the company explains how they got into the first contract.

The only advantage to seeing them move away from an exclusivity contract would be the chance that they might also release their games on Steam.. which is another service I like.

To be honest, though.. without the exclusivity with Sony.. I wonder if we would have games featuring motion control, etc.

Tough to say.

You could look at it another way.

If they don't tie themselves down, they've got Kinect out there, and Wii U at the end of the year. Imagine the things they could do with that hardware?

I'm surprised they've not made more of Move, though.

Finally got a chance to play! Late I know. I had to go out of town for training and just got back to my ps3. (Yes I have been posting all from my phone this past week, lol)

I absolutely loved it! I was surprised how attached I could get to someone I had no clue about. I lost my first companion after three levels and was very saddened. They did a wonderful job on this game. <3

Question: Is it possible to keep the same companion the whole game? I was sure I only had two but during the credits it showed four. :?

EDIT: LittleBigPlanet DLC coming next month!

With my belongings from the UK finally with me just the other month, I used the Easter weekend to finally settle down and play this, which I realise is nearly one year later!

Hard to say if I got the the same thing from it that everyone else did, I'm not sure it would have changed my 2012 GOTY shortlist if I'm honest, but it was an excellent experience that made me think, tugged at my heartstrings, and my gaming life is easily better for playing it.

I'll never forget the first person I came across as we elegantly danced around in the sand in glee, or trying to forge some sort of bleep/bloop communication system with other players as we explored. Or the moment I lost of one of them, only to feel sheer relief as they caught up chirping loudly in celebration. Or gracefully sliding down the sand dunes, weaving in and out. Or the sheers beauty of the vistas and views. Or the emotional moments I had right near the end that I shared with a nameless, anonymous person that I'll likely never share with any others going forward.

There's so much to talk about for a 2-3 hour game. Amazing really.
