Has anyone noticed that the Bluray Season One on on sale right now?

When they first came out they were like 100 bucks.. they're on for like 40-45 bucks now!

Though I'm still trying to comparison shop and find the cheapest prices (because I'm totally cheap).

Joel, being thrifty is a good thing in this current financial downturn and nothing to be ashamed of at all! God only knows, there are plenty of retailers out there willing to try and rip off customers even in this climate.

Too right. Why pay full price for something just so people don't think you're cheap? Fuck that lol! Get that box set for as little as you can dude :P

Watched the premier for season 2 last night... It was good. I don't know if I was maybe expecting a little bit more of... something.. but it felt very much like a set-up episode.. whereas I was hoping for something that would blow me away.. BUT.. maybe that's how good stories are told.. with a bit of a slow start, and then building and building as the season progresses.

Loving the characters still.. can't wait to see what happens.

My only concern is the great number of people that have told me that the book series gets worse and worse as it goes along... which is too bad, because it is sooo promising.

Yup I totally agree dude. It was definitely a slow starter, setting the scene for the new landscape of Westeros and allowing us to catch up with the characters. I might've just forgotten some of the latter eps of Series 1 but I got the impression some time has passed between the series. Still, massively looking forward to the rest of the series :D
