Titanfall Presentation – No Queuing Required

Matt hates to queue but he loves the idea of shooting things in a giant mech. Thankfully, a new video has emerged that requires no lining-up and has plenty of large robots shooting things. TITANFALL!

At this year’s Eurogamer Expo I played exactly 0 minutes and 0 seconds of Titanfall. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to play it, I just didn’t want to queue for hours.

Now, thanks to the lovely people at EB Games Expo which took place in Australia, we have video of a presentation which was hosted by Abbie Heppe from Respawn. This means you can get a better look at the game that’s the talk of the town without having to queue. Oh great, the video’s buffering. Will this waiting never end!?

You all know the story behind Respawn, right? They’re the dev team that came about after Activision decided to ‘shake-up’ what was going on at Infinity Ward.

When a group of developers that used to work on the Call of Duty franchise decide to create their own team, people will naturally expect a great deal from them. Even though this is their first game, it’s quickly become one of the pillars of Xbox One’s ‘launch window’ line-up and the game’s hype train is now running at full speed.

Whilst I’m not much of a fan of the FPS genre, it’s hard to argue with anyone that’s excited for this game. Giant mechs, giant explosions and giant maps all seem to come together to make a really fast-paced shooter. Who knows, maybe this will be the title that gets me into online shooters.
