The Walking Dead Episode 3 “could be as soon as next week”

Another post from me about zombies, eh? I can stop any time I want, I swear!
Anyway… If, like me, you’ve been playing Telltale’s excellent Walking Dead season, you’ll be eagerly anticipating impatiently awaiting the next instalment, Long Road Ahead. Especially after the way that last episode ended, am I right?!
Typical of Telltale, they’ve been pretty hard to lock down in terms of a solid release date, however they’ve recently told IGN that it “could be as soon as next week”. Well, it’d have to be if it’s going to meet their last quoted estimation of ‘August’, wouldn’t it?
“Episode Three: Long Road Ahead is in submission with our first party partners and we are anxiously awaiting a release date to be confirmed,” their unnamed rep explained to IGN. “We anticipate that this could be as soon as next week, and as soon as we have a confirmation on all platforms, we’ll be letting everyone know as soon as it happens.”
I, for one, can’t fricking wait, as I don’t think I’ve played a game that’s captured the spirit of the source material as well as this. Fingers crossed it won’t be too much longer before we’re able to continue the adventures of Lee Everett.

I'm proper lookin forward to this and I'm sick of waiting! So sick I wrote a bloody article about it! In all seriousness though I can't wait for this to hit and if it is out next week I'll have to break the bank and buy some MSP for it lol.

In that respect, I'm glad I went PC and paid upfront for the season. Shame they couldn't do similar for console.
