Re-mortgage the house: Amazon have PS4 and Xbox One listed at £599.99

If you’re eager to throw cash at something not yet officially priced – like a worn out Futurama meme that was never ever funny – then do Amazon have the deal for you?!

That’s right, here’s a bargain for gamers that are looking to buy a PS4 and/or Xbox One, but aren’t patient enough to wait eleven days to find out the actual price during E3.

Amazon will gladly take your pre-order for either console and give you a penny change for your six hundred squids.

Great prices await?

Don’t worry too much about how suspicious it all sounds, Amazon don’t expect a signed cheque in blood…yet;

“With our Pre-order Price Guarantee, you can pre-order the PS4 now and if the Amazon.co.uk price decreases between the time you place your order and the release date, you’ll be charged the lowest price.”

See? “No problemo” says the company with notoriously questionable global tax practices (ha ha just a silly joke there Amazon legal team).

No, what’s actually sending cascades of monocles smashing to the floor here is that price estimation.

If Amazon are anywhere close to an accurate figure for the consoles (which seems doubtful, to say the least) then games are going to cost more than flights – to somewhere that isn’t shit!

So, before you clutch your pearls so tightly they scatter like marbles onto the floor and create a slippy trap (like that scene in Home Alone, I forget which one), remember; Amazon are just guessing.

Will you be sending the kids to the mine to pre-order at Amazon? Let us know!
