You got Virtua Fighter in my Dead or Alive 5… again!

Dead or Alive 5 is set to return as Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate later this year. This time;  Jacky, Ein and the previously revealed Momiji will be entering the ring!

Read on for the details!

First up is Jacky Bryant. Sarah’s twin bro from Virtua Fighter 5 brings his big hair and mouth into the ring. His Bruce Lee inspired Jeet Kune Do fighting style means he should match up quite well with DOA‘s resident practitioner of the arts, Jann Lee.

DOA fan favourite Ein is back too. You remember Ein, right? Well, Hayate’s alter ego is still punching ladies off cliffs and oil rigs and you know he’s serious about it because after 11 years he’s still wearing the same fishnet shirt everywhere. That must be the shirt equivalent of paper oven gloves.

Rounding off the list is Ryu Hayabusa’s female ninja accomplice Momiji from the Ninja Gaiden series, also be making a playable appearance.

As well as new training modes (Tutorial, Combo and Challenge), Ultimate also allows you to set your favourite background music during battle. DOA5U boasts some pretty lush new stages too. Sky City Tokyo takes players back to the world of Ninja Gaiden while the rocky green Lost World and autumnal Forest stages look fresh out of a pre-set Microsoft desktop background (*sigh* ahhhh….).

Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will be out in the Autumn for both Xbox 360 and PS3.
